# Sign In to Plex with a QR Code (No Typing)

> Scan the QR code on your TV with your phone camera to open the Plex link page, then confirm the code to sign in. Faster than typing plex.tv/link.

When your TV shows the Plex link code, point your phone camera at the QR code next to it. Tap the link that appears, sign in, and confirm the code.

## Steps to sign in with a QR code

**1. Open the code screen**

Open Plex on your TV and select **Sign In**.

**2. Scan the QR code**

Open your phone's camera and point it at the QR code on the TV.

**3. Check the web address**

Tap the link. Confirm the address starts with **plex.tv** before you sign in.

**4. Sign in and confirm**

Sign in to your Plex account and submit the code. The TV links in seconds.
