# Plex.tv/link on Smart TV: Samsung, LG, Vizio Setup

> Install Plex from your smart TV app store, select Sign In, then enter the 4-character code at plex.tv/link. Works on Samsung, LG, Vizio, and more.

Install the Plex app from your TV's app store, open it, and select **Sign In**. Then go to **plex.tv/link** on your phone or computer, sign in, and enter the code shown on the TV.

## Steps to link Plex on a smart TV

**1. Install the Plex app**

Press **Home** on your remote, open your TV's app store, search for **Plex**, and install it.

**2. Open Plex and select Sign In**

Launch the app and choose **Sign In**. A 4-character code appears.

**3. Visit plex.tv/link**

On a phone or computer, open [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) and sign in to your Plex account.

**4. Enter the code**

Type the code and submit. The TV signs in within a few seconds.

## Smart TV tips

* Keep the code screen open until the TV refreshes.
* Make sure the TV is connected to the internet.
* If Plex is missing from the app store, check for a TV software update first.
