Sign In to Plex with a QR Code (No Typing)

Scan the QR code on your TV with your phone camera to open the Plex link page, then confirm the code to sign in. Faster than typing plex.tv/link.

When your TV shows the Plex link code, point your phone camera at the QR code next to it. Tap the link that appears, sign in, and confirm the code.

Steps to sign in with a QR code

1. Open the code screen

   Open Plex on your TV and select Sign In.

2. Scan the QR code

   Open your phone’s camera and point it at the QR code on the TV.

3. Check the web address

   Tap the link. Confirm the address starts with plex.tv before you sign in.

4. Sign in and confirm

   Sign in to your Plex account and submit the code. The TV links in seconds.

QR sign-in is available on some platforms only. If you do not see a QR code, use plex.tv/link instead.
