Plex.tv/link on Xbox and PlayStation

Download Plex from the Microsoft Store or PlayStation Store, select Sign In, and enter the code at plex.tv/link to use Plex on your console.

Download Plex from your console’s store, open it, and select Sign In. Go to plex.tv/link on your phone or computer and enter the code. Console apps need a signed-in account to work.

Steps to link Plex on a console

1. Download Plex

   On Xbox, open the Microsoft Store. On PlayStation, open the PlayStation Store. Search Plex and download it.

2. Open Plex and select Sign In

   Launch the app and choose Sign In to show the 4-character code.

3. Go to plex.tv/link

   On another device, open https://plex.tv/link and sign in.

4. Enter the code

   Submit the code. Your console refreshes and signs in.

To stream your own media, your Plex Media Server must also be signed in to the same account.
